Our job is to remove the uncertainty that ruins trips: unclear GPX files, outdated blogs, missing signage, and advice from people who haven't actually walked these routes.

The Story Behind Hike Balkans
I first came to the Balkans in 2019 and was surprised by how hard it was to find clear information. Some routes were mapped, others weren't, and a lot of the advice online didn't match what was on the ground. So I started making my own notes as I went — GPX tracks, trailheads, water sources, places to stay, things that were useful in practice.
Over time those notes turned into small guide packs, and then into guided trips for people who wanted the same kind of clarity. Hike Balkans is built from time on the ground — walking the trails properly and documenting what actually helps hikers succeed.
