ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By signing below, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in a guided hiking tour organized by Hike Balkans in Montenegro and Albania. I understand that hiking and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, steep or slippery paths, sudden weather changes, rockfalls, altitude, wildlife encounters, and other natural hazards that may result in injury, illness, property damage, or death.
I confirm that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in this activity and that I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, allergies and medications that may affect my participation.
I agree to follow all safety instructions and guidance provided by Hike Balkans and its guides and to act responsibly throughout the activity. I understand that failure to do so may increase the risk of harm to myself or others, and I accept responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, or damage resulting from my actions or omissions.
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Hike Balkans and its representatives to obtain or arrange medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to provide consent myself.
I understand that Hike Balkans and its guides will take all reasonable precautions to provide a safe experience, but cannot eliminate all risks associated with outdoor adventure activities.
I acknowledge that Hike Balkans does not provide personal medical, accident, or travel insurance, and that I am responsible for arranging my own appropriate coverage. It is recommended that this coverage includes emergency evacuation and mountain rescue.
The personal and medical information provided in this form will be used solely for safety and operational purposes related to your tour and will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
By signing this waiver, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms stated above, and I voluntarily accept the risks associated with participation in this activity.
